Good question, and yes, there is a way (sort of) to aggregate a point layer.  There is another forum post that explains how to do that...click here to read that post.

First, make sure you understand that the Aggregate add-in will work only with polygon map layers...not with point or line map layers (if you are unsure about what these different types of map layers are, please refer to the AWhere help documentation, and look for information on 'Map Layer Types'...or you may also refer to the 'Beginner 1' ...

I have made a data connection between a map layer and a spreadsheet, and now I am trying to use the Aggregator add-in to aggregate the map layer based on the values in one of those connected spreadsheet fields.  But, I can't see that map layer to select it in the Aggregator add-in interface...am I doing something wrong?
