How to Try AWhere without purchasing a License

If you wish to try either AWhere Express or AWhere Professional, you may do so by downloading the respective installation file from the AWhere Inc website.  After you install the application, you will have the option of activating a temporary/trial license.  Instructions for how to download, install and activate the trial license are below:

    1) Go to Download Page - Visit http://www.awhere.com/Downloads/Software.aspx.  On that webpage, you will see the downloadable installation files for both AWhere Express and AWhere Professional...you need only download one of those.  First, you will need to sign in to be able to download.

    2) Sign In or Create Account - Note that if you are not already signed in to our website, you are prompted to 'Sign In' before you can proceed with a download.  If you already have created an account on our website, just sign in using the username (e-mail address) and password you established when you first created your account.  If you do not remember your password, you may use the 'Forgot Password?' link, seen there under the Sign In area, for help.  Otherwise, if you do not have an account, you will need to create one first before you can download anything.  You can create a new account by clicking on the red "Create Account" button on the right margin of that Download webpage.

    3) Download and Install - After downloading the installation file, run it.  As with most software installations, you will mostly likely need to have administrative privileges on your computer in order to install AWhere.  If you do not, or are in an organization where computers are 'locked down', you will need to contact someone from your IT department for assistance with the installation.  If possible, it is best if you allow AWhere to be installed at the default installtion location on your computer's C drive (C:\Program Files\AWhere....).  If you have any other questions about downloading on installing, you can go to this webpage (http://www.awhere.com/Support/CustomerService.aspx for help... refer to the FAQ items on the 'Download help' tab on that page).

    4) Activate Trial - After you have downloaded and installed AWhere, start the AWhere application from your computer's 'Start' menu (Start > Programs > AWhere >...).  The first time you start AWhere, you will be prompted to enter a license code...instead of entering a license code, select the "Run a Trial License" button.  You can now use AWhere for 10 'run-time hours' (the don't have to be consecutive hours).

    Tips:

    1) Manage your Trial Hours Wisely - During your trial license period, when you are not using AWhere, turn AWhere off so that time is not counted against your 10-hour trial period.  As long as AWhere is running in the background (even if you are not actively using it), it will count against your trial period.

    2) Trial can only be run once - After your 10-hour trial period has expired, you cannot run it again.  Uninstalling AWhere from your computer and re-installing it will not refresh the trial clock.  If you need an extension on your AWhere evaluation period, contact the sales person with whom you have been in communication, or contact our sales department (sales@awhere.com) to request an extended trial license.
