    License Activation Issues

    If you are having any trouble with your AWhere license, please read the tips below; and also refer to the 'License' FAQs on this page of our website (http://www.awhere.com/Support/FAQs.aspx).

    1)  Is it an AWhere Express or AWhere Professional License? - Make sure you are using the right license for the right application.  You cannot use an 'AWhere Express' license with AWhere Professional, nor vice versa...a given license is specific to either AWhere Express or AWhere Professional, and are not inter-changeable.

    2) Enter both the Username and the Serial Number Provided - Any license code information provided to you by AWhere Inc. will include a Username (aka 'Licensed to'), and also a Serial Number (key-code).  Ensure that you enter both of those pieces of information when prompted to do so by the 'AWhere License Validation' window.  In other words, you cannot just make up your own username to go into the 'Licensed to' box...it must be the Username we provide, in combination with the Serial Number we provide.

    3) Enter License Info exactly as provided - Ensure that you enter the Username and Serial Number exactly as provided...copying and pasting from the license e-mail that we provide into the 'AWhere License Validation' window will avert any such problems.  If you must manually enter the license information into the License Validation window, ensure that you enter the letters as shown (match upper and/or lower case).  Also, for the Serial Number...all of the "0's" that you see are in fact the number zero...they are not the upper-case letter 'O'.  There will never be a letter "O' in an AWhere license serial number.

    4) Take Note of the Expiration Date - Except for the trial license that you can activate upon initially installing and running AWhere the first time...any other license that we provide to you will have a specific expiration date (a 'hard date').  That date will be noted when we provide you with the license.  If you attempt to activate that license after that date, it will not work. 

    5) Contact us with Questions - If the above tips (and those on the FAQ page noted above) still do not resolve your license issue, contact us via the 'Contact Us' page on our website (http://www.awhere.com/Support/ContactUs.aspx).  Be sure to include both your License username as well as the Serial Number when you contact us with your license issue.  We will need that information to reference your license on our end.
