Is there a Spatial join tool in AWhere?

I need to join the values from one map layer to the features of a second map layer based upon their physical intersection, but I only see the Table join tool, and that will not do the trick.  Does AWhere have some type of join tool that is based upon spatial intersection?

Re: Is there a Spatial join tool in AWhere?

Yes, AWhere’s ‘Spatial Join Add-In’ will do exactly what you are asking about.  Since it is an Add-In, it is not part of the core AWhere application/interface; rather,  it is accessible from the ‘Add-Ins’ menu at the top of the AWhere interface.

If you are using AWhere Professional, then you already have this Add-In because it is installed with AWhere Pro.  However, if you are using AWhere Express, then you will not have it, but you can get it.  You will need to log on to the AWhere website and download the installation file for it from our Add-Ins Download page (http://www.awhere.com/Downloads/AddIns.aspx )...scroll down the page until you see “AWhere Spatial Join Add-In”, and download that .exe file.  Be sure that you do not have AWhere running when you run that .exe file to install that Add-In.  After it is installed, you should now be able to access the Spatial Join Add-in from AWhere’s ‘Add-Ins’ menu.

For help on how to use the Spatial Join Add-In, refer to the Help button on the “About AWhere Spatial Join Add-In” link under AWhere’s ‘Add-Ins’ menu.  The helpfile also includes some examples of what the Spatial Join tool can do, in case you are wondering.
