John D. Corbett, PhD.
Co-Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer
After graduating with honors at Dartmouth, then earning a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Corbett spent the next 20 years becoming an expert in geo-spatial tool applications. Working closely with the national and international organizations in the US, Kenya, Africa, Switzerland, and Mexico, John built and managed systems to utilize geo-analytics to increase positive outcomes. Leveraging his expertise with GIS, John identified a major need in the marketplace that became the framework for aWhere’s products. Prior to aWhere, John worked with Syngenta as Head of Global GIS where he managed the business operations of the GIS division of a global corporation.
Stewart N. Collis
Co-Founder, Vice President Research & Development, Chief Technology Officer
Graduated from University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia earning a Bachelor of Geomatic Engineering (with Honors) and a Master of Engineering Science with specific focus on Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing. Worked at the International Center for Research in Agro-Forestry (ICRAF) in Kenya then Texas A&M University System as a software developer focusing on climate and agriculture modeling and easy to use GIS. Co-founded aWhere, Inc. with a principle role in leading software and technology directions and research.
David R. Lundberg
Vice President Product Strategy & Chief Operating Officer
As a senior executive with nineteen years experience in software strategy, operations, and product development, Dave has re-engineered the strategy and operations of numerous software companies into effective, profitable enterprises. Prior to joining aWhere, Dave led his company's acquisition by Microsoft, and most recently served as Dun & Bradstreet/Hoovers Vice President of Product Strategy. The software products under his direction have delivered proven value to customers ranging from the smallest domestic companies to the largest global enterprises including IBM, Ford, Volvo, Sun, and Zurich Financial Services. Dave graduated with a B.S. from Iowa State.
Jim Pollock
President of Vertical Market Development
After receiving a BSEE from MIT, Jim has developed broad and deep operational experience with 4- years of sales at Hewlett-Packard, as engineering manager and product marketing manager for two Silicon Valley software startups, as director of software and systems marketing for a later stage instrumentation company, and by co-founding two electronic learning companies. Of these companies, Jim was instrumental in developing the technology and partnership strategies leading to 3 acquisitions and an IPO. Most recently he was the Executive Director of the CTEK Colorado Technology Incubator in Boulder where he mentored and assisted dozens of technology startups.
Tim Kregor
Vice President Sales & Marketing
Tim brings a unique set of skills and 30 years of Retail industry experience to aWhere. Formerly President of Spectra Marketing, Tim’s extensive industry experience also includes product brand management as Senior Vice President with Kraft Foods and market segmentation and targeting as Senior Vice President at Nielsen. Tim has a proven track record of client satisfaction, team development, and corporate success and earned his Marketing MBA from the University of Illinois.
